Itinerary: At the rhythm of the Earth
Zapatoca "Silk Climate"
The ascent towards Zapatoca is the first encounter with the territory. We begin our journey in Bucaramanga with a stop at the Sogamoso Viewpoint, where the magnitude of the canyon invites deep admiration of the Santander geography.
Zapatoca welcomes us with its calm atmosphere. We invite you to discover the destination at your own pace: whether exploring the depths of the Nitro Cave for nature lovers, or connecting with the destination through its artisanal mastery. As evening falls, we will begin our Shared Experience "The German Legacy": As part of our scheduled activities, you will have the option to join a tour of the architecture and customs that guard the trace of European migrants. During this encounter, we will discover the legacy of Geo von Lengerke, the German pioneer who in the 19th century transformed the region by building the paths that today allow us to connect with our history and global trade.
Nitro Cave (Exploration Experience)
An adventure alternative where you can descend into this geological sanctuary. Under lighting designed to highlight its secrets, you will travel through millions of years of underground history at your own pace.

La Fuente - Galán - Guane "Paths that unite"
This day is a journey through the geographical heart of Santander, following the old commercial axes that facilitated the exchange of products to international markets in the 19th century.
We will begin the journey towards Barichara, either by trekking along the ancestral Lengerke path or by vehicle, passing through the towns of La Fuente and Galán. We will travel through landscapes where biodiversity and the silence of the mountain create a revitalizing pause; an ideal route to observe Santander's daily life in its most authentic state. The group will meet in Guane, a town that preserves cultural memory as the last recognized indigenous reserve in Santander. After this reunion in its stone plaza, we will continue together the brief journey towards our final destination. End of Day: Arrival in Barichara, where the stone and the light of the sunset will welcome you to your home for the next few nights.
Immersion in the Lengerke Path
For lovers of hiking and history, this route offers an exclusive trekking experience within the canyon system formed by the Suárez and Chicamocha rivers, ending in the historic town of Guane. It takes place along one of the original sections of the Lengerke Path, an ancient indigenous trail that, in the 19th century, was expanded and paved with stones by German businessman Geo von Lengerke to connect the towns of Santander with the commercial routes of the Magdalena River.
Barichara "Enchanting Town"
Barichara is considered the most beautiful heritage town in Colombia, with cobblestone streets mixed with rammed earth and its white facades welcoming us with their serene charm. A "Quiet Luxury," where the value lies in architectural conservation and its preserved arts and crafts.
Shared Experience "Patiamarillo Tour": In this tour, Barichara reveals itself as an open book of art, architecture, and ancestral wisdom. We will walk its stone streets and emblematic places, where the rammed earth tells stories. You will have the opportunity to visit and meet those who keep local traditions alive, and learn how natural fibers are transformed into handmade paper. Finally, after an experience of flavors of ants and sabajon, we will go to the edges of the town, where the Salto del Mico opens to the void, offering the most spectacular views. If you wish, you can also visit other emblematic sites to discover the magic of the artisans who explain why this is the "enchanting town," performing one of the recommended experiences in the destination or, simply, relaxing to enjoy an afternoon of romanticism and culture.

San Gil and Curití "Culture or Adventure"
San Gil, Adventure Tourism Capital in Colombia, is a place where fear stays behind and a stronger version of you is born. There you can perform various experiences such as rafting, visiting the Extreme Park adventure sports center or, if you prefer, walk the Pescaderito path, an active ecotourism experience.
For those looking for a cultural day, the destination is Curití, "the town of weavers." In workshops like Ecofibras, you can learn about the artisanal process of fique, from cultivation to the creation of final pieces, in a direct encounter with the craft and local identity. After these experiences, the group will meet in the afternoon to return to the hotel in Barichara.
Pescaderito (Curití)
Interpretative hiking through natural crystalline pools surrounded by native vegetation and unique rock formations, culminating in a revitalizing bath in fresh mountain waters. It is the ideal destination to balance physical activity with relaxation in an environment of absolute peace.
El Peñón Guane Extreme Park (San Gil)
It is a technical adventure complex designed to take advantage of natural rock formations. Its main focus is overcoming physical challenges with high safety standards and panoramic views of the region.
Encounter with History (Pinchote)
The Antonia Santos House Museum offers an immersion in the liberating feat through a performance where the heroine is personified. This cultural tour allowed us to learn about the legacy of the Comuneros and daily life in the 19th century.
Aratoca - Bucaramanga "In the heart of Chicamocha"
The journey continues towards Bucaramanga, traveling through one of Colombia's most impressive landscapes: the majestic Chicamocha Canyon, an ecosystem with dry and arid forests that contrast with the raging waters of the river that crosses its bottom. In those wild mountains the Santander goat lives freely, coexisting with the ceiba barrigona, a unique species in the world found only in this place.
Shared Experience "Crossing the Canyon": In the Chicamocha National Park (PANACHI) we perform a guided tour of its main viewpoints and attractions. A stage where the history of independence mixes with the wild landscapes of the second longest canyon in the world and the first to be the deepest. Then we cross the canyon in the cable car, an experience that allows us to dimension the magnitude of this territory from the air. Before returning to Bucaramanga, we visit the renowned Café Mesa de los Santos to enjoy an experience around one of the country's most outstanding coffees, the perfect close to a week of celebration and discovery. Then, we move to the starting point, and the end of the trip but not of the memory, because "Whoever steps on Santander soil is a Santanderian."
The Chicamocha National Park:
Offers various adventure experiences to enjoy the scenery of the Canyon. Highlights include the cable flight and the extreme swing. Experiences such as paragliding, hiking, and visits to panoramic viewpoints within the park can also be performed.
